Where is Eleuthera, Bahamas ?

Eleuthera is one of the family islands of the Bahamas and is an exotic, beautiful and picturesque island. The sickle shape island is approximately 104 miles long and two miles wide at its widest point.  It is the seventh largest of the Bahamas Islands. At the narrowest point on the island the Atlantic Ocean kisses the Caribbean Sea

How do I apply for Camp Bahamas?

Once you have decided on a two-week session, you may register online to secure a date or mail/fax your application to us with a $500 non-refundable deposit.  Upon receipt of the application and deposit a space will be held and an enrollment package will be sent containing detailed information and necessary forms that must be returned to the Camp Bahamas Office.

Where will my child stay ?

All girls will be housed in a beautiful and spacious villa overlooking the water.

Who are the camp leaders ?

Gloria Harrell is the hands-on Executive Director for each session. In addition, one group leader is assigned to every 4 campers.  The group leader will be with their designated campers the entire 2 weeks 24 hours a day. Our group leaders are intelligent dependable, mature, friendly, athletic young adults hand picked by the Executive Director and have had criminal background checks performed.

Will my child be safe ?

Safety is our primary concern, all activities are planned to ensure the safety of all involved.  In the event of an accident, medical personnel will attend to the camper promptly, and parents will be notified immediately. 

Camp Bahamas carries group travel medical insurance on each camper in the event emergency medical care is required or evacuation is necessary.

This coverage is provided at no extra cost and includes: Emergency medical and emergency dental coverage, emergency medical transportation, trip interruption insurance, due to illness, injury, death in the family, natural disasters. Pre–existing conditions are not covered.

Can I get references ?

At your request, references can be provided from other teens that have traveled with us and their parents.
